Youtube au service de l'industrie musicale

Youtube will he soon the Tool No. 1 music promotion?

technologies evolve, new media come to life, habits and changing consumption patterns as well. That's what it's like our society today. The world is forever changing and we must constantly adapt to it, although I must admit that it is mostly us who are on the basis of these changes.

When the music industry has developed on the canvas, the artists began by promoting their songs, streaming, on music sharing sites such as Soundclick. Communities of artists and fans were then formed with the advent of MySpace and all these people on Youtube has been exported. Sharing video clips grows and finally reaches its climax. With its export videos (embed), the growing fame propels Youtube on all platforms. Emerging artists and communities continue to live through the "channels". When YouTube launched in 2008 its system annotation, new opportunities are emerging, including the creation of interactive video. System that seems simple, but yet offers a huge potential for more creative.

Today, Youtube integrates itself as promoting the sharing of music, and these in all their forms. Songs, video clips, previews, Viral marketing, buzz.

The music industry seems to understand that being aware of new technologies and use them properly, that is! Especially when we know that actions web is a lot cheaper, even free!

The demonstration with the campaign launch "interactive" for the new album by Miley Cyrus. It seems to me that this is the first time a major label this type of method used for this kind of promotion.

Can You Get Herpes From A Handshake?

Fab Perfect

Agency: Leo Burnett , Singapore
Client: Perfect Fab

Here is a very good advertising for declination Fab detergent brand Perfect. If effective, it gives a seemingly harmless stains. The first two are the most successful video in my opinion. Excellent choice of colors and clothes. The third (ice) lack a bit of life, matter and contrast and space is less well managed, which makes it more flat and empty.

Animal Ark Babylon, the incredible rescue of the Baghdad Zoo

June 2010: French release of the book by Lawrence Anthony "Babylon's Ark, the incredible rescue of the Baghdad Zoo."

2003, amid the war in Iraq, Lawrence Anthony will travel to Baghdad to save the remaining animals in the zoo of the city, the largest in the Middle East. This is the beginning of an extraordinary adventure that will lead to work together amid the chaos of war, Iraqis and Americans in the name of love and respect for animals.

Such is the story told in this book successful in the Anglo-Saxon. It is a beautiful testimony of courage, love of animals and also of humanity.

The author, Anthony Lawrence is a renowned environmentalist, President of the association TEO (The Earth Organization). He is currently a struggle to pass a resolution by the UN to protect the fauna and flora in conflict zones.

4th cover

All animal lovers and adventure, can only be conquered by the compelling and truthful account of the rescue of the Baghdad Zoo, in the midst of chaos, danger and the uncertainty of a city at war. Refusing the lions, bears and other zoo residents of Baghdad are the victims of human wars, Lawrence Anthony embarked on a mission that leads him, among Abrahams tanks and firing of Iraqi soldiers to work together Iraqi and U.S. the name of respect and love animals. It is with happiness that we discover how were saved from slaughter latest thoroughbred Arab Saddam and gleefully that we take part in the crossing of Baghdad at war with ostriches, a camel and bears, to the amusement of population and soldiers. Ultimately, this book is a testimony of love for animals and humanity that can only make profound optimism, regardless of age.

The book

When the Iraq war began, Lawrence Anthony, conservationist, was haunted by a thought: what would be the fate of the Baghdad Zoo, caught between two fires in the center of the city? He decided to go even as fighting continued. When he arrived there, his worst fears were fulfilled. The violence of the fighting and uncontrolled looting had killed many animals.

Fortunately, there were survivors. Even at the height of the battle, American soldiers had taken the time to do it and some zoo staff had returned to work despite the incessant shooting. Together and despite the mistrust and prejudices on all sides, Americans and Iraqis were organized to keep the animals alive who had escaped the bombs and looters.

's Ark Babylon is the chronicle of a zoo destroyed by chaos and transformed into a peaceful park thanks to the efforts of a man whose goal was to keep the animals alive and bring security. Throughout the book, including Lawrence Anthony tells how he treated a group of lions that belonged to Uday Hussein, Saddam's son, closed a private zoo for feeding the black market and saved the thoroughbreds of the former Arab -dictator hiding in a barn at Abu Ghraib.

Living in Baghdad was a unique experience which allowed Lawrence Anthony to make Babylon's Ark story warm and special about how the animal rights activists, soldiers and civilians have swept their differences and come together to rebuild a zoo, the only real sign of humanity in the midst of war.

Rationale

This book is a compelling story for adults but also older adolescents. Animal lovers will probably be the first people affected by this story. A study of the Chicago Sun in April 2009 concluded that the animal stories were a safe bet in publishing. This story is particularly interesting in this regard as it brings attention to the lions, tigers, bears and other animals, victims of war but which follows the rescue deal with robbers, soldiers and the general indifference. It crosses the famous thoroughbred Arab Saddam Hussain, whose pedigree goes back to the Crusades and which the author skillfully narrates the rescue.

is also an incredible human adventure. Caring for a zoo in the middle of a war appears in this book as a great way to bring peace and communication between men. This is the great lesson of this book. Save the animals is finally focus on the positive side of being human is to fight against the barbarism and inhumanity that characterize war.

This book is a thrilling and moving testimony. The suspense and emotion are present throughout this story the other abducted and optimistic. A moment of true happiness.

Coup de gueule contre l'iPhone

Last week I was in Brussels for a short stay very nice, almost!

Everything was going perfectly until the last day on the way to the airport, thieves have escaped with my wallet and my ID card. As if this were not enough, the train that was take me to the airport was late and I was in the wad. Once I step obviously the "gate" furthest from the entrance. I also had the misfortune happiness to discover how the Brussels airport was great! After the biggest sprint of my life, I finally get to the "gate", sweaty, no paper nor money, as a homeless. I am surprised that no identity check has been done so far and discovers chance (if I may say) that my Easyjet flight was delayed. Had this not been the case, I think I would have missed. For a time it helps me!

I realize with amazement that no hostess EasyJet did not match the counter and I run in every direction to find one. I finally fell upon a hostess who went out walking at the other end of the hall and explain my situation. I asked him if a digital scan of my ID is valid and she replied that it should play normally. So I call my parents and asked me to scan my passport (luckily in Switzerland we have an identity card and passport) and send it to me on my mail. Boarding begins, the plane is there, and I ... I still can not not open the attached file to the mail. Yet it is a beast JPG. I learn from a friend that the iPhone does not read the JPG in the mail, but only the PDF! Smarphone my c * s! Not smart at all. I remember my parents, but unfortunately they do not know how to scan to PDF. Meanwhile, the embarkation was proceeding at full speed. I was so anxious that I completely forgot that my friend had his computer on it. At any rate I turn it on. Obviously, no wi-fi in the airport, but only paying spots. I also borrows his credit card and hit me create a login form with to finally use the internet! Almost 10 minutes later, the connection finally starts! It's not too soon! I open my mailbox, scan and download the shows to the hostess, who finally let me pick ... just in time!

is all that to say that the iPhone is not even that! JPG is still one of the most common formats on the web. What good is inventing applications for everything and anything, while functionality as basic as it does not even updated. Big disappointment. But finally, it is often through the misadventures that we made the biggest experiences.

A small rant against the wi-fi spots in airports also, who are anything but practical ... Quick! Knowing that nearly half the passengers are business men and the other half of people under stress ... not that great!
